Islah militias storm Al-Thawra Hospital in Taiz

SANAA, May 5 (YPA) – Armed militias belonging to the so-called 22nd Brigade, which is affiliated with al-Islah party, on Monday stormed Al-Thawra General Hospital and raided its section in the city of Taiz, local sources said.

According to local sources in the city, the armed group led by the leader  Abdul Hakim al-Shujaa, commander of the so-called Sector 6 in the 22nd Micah Brigade, raided the hospital staff, and stormed the emergency, internal and intensive care departments.

The sources reported that the gunmen were looking for doctors on duty last night, to assault them, after they told a patient following the Shujaa, who came to the authority yesterday evening, that  there is not vacant in the care department.

The incident caused panic among medical staff and patients after their weapons were declared and they entered the sections, one of the sources said.
