Earthquake hits Japan’s coasts

SANAA, April 30 (YPA) – A 5.2-magnitude earthquake hit the Pacific Ocean Thursday morning off the coast of Japan, the US Geological Survey( USGS) said.

According to the USGS, the epicenter of the quake is located at a depth of 35.4 km 116 km northeast of ‪Hachinohe city in Japan’s Umori province.

Another 4.1-magnitude earthquake was reported on Commander Islands.
