China records ten new coronavirus cases

SANAA, April 23 (YPA) – China’s National Health Commission announced Thursday that the mainland has recorded 10 new cases of coronavirus (Covid-19) as of the end of April 22nd, down from 30 recorded a day earlier, mostly for overseas arrivals.

Six of the new confirmed cases of Covid-19 were among the cases, down from 23 on Tuesday, the Commission said.

The number of new positive patients with no symptoms had also dropped to 27 from 42 the previous day.

This brings the total number of confirmed cases of Covid-19 in mainland China to 82,798.

No new deaths from the virus have been recorded, with a total of 4,632 death cases.
