JAWF, April 9 (YPA) – A senior commander in ranks of Saudi-led coalition forces called Amin al-Waeli was injured and 17 of his companions were killed in Jawf province on Thursday, informed sources told Yemen Press Agency.
The sources explained that a missile strike targeted Major General al-Waeli and a number of his brigade personnel on Wednesday evening in Labnat desert in Jawf, which led to the injuring of al-Waeli and the killing of 17 of his escorts, including his office’s manager.
There are accusations of raising the coordinates to “Houthis” (Ansarullah) by “Fateh Al-Mallahi”, the reconnaissance officer of the 141st” brigade loyal to the coalition forces, the sources added.
