Over 1,100 commercial facilities closed in Sanaa, as precaution against Corona
SANAA, April 8 (YPA) – The Public Works and Roads Office in the capital Sanaa closed more than 1,100 commercial facilities in the capital during the past two weeks, as a precaution to prevent the spread of Corona epidemic.
“The closure of 1,111 facilities, including wedding halls, public steam baths, rest houses, hookah and Internet cafes, public parks and others came in implementation of the directives issued by the joint committee to confront Corona virus,” said Dr. Mohammed al-Asbahi, director of the environmental health department at the Public Works Office in the capital, in a statement to Yemen Press Agency on Wednesday.
Dr. al-Asbahi indicated that more than 7,500 commercial establishments were obligated to take healthy precautions to combat the Corona virus.
He added that there are control committees implement field campaigns on a daily basis to ensure the commitment of workers in the facilities to the precautions.
The Environmental Health Department in the capital Sanaa called on the owners of commercial establishments to double hygiene and follow the precautionary health standards and conditions to prevent the Corona epidemic.
