HODEIDAH, April 6 (YPA) – The Public Health and Population Office in Hodeidah province on Monday condemned Saudi-led coalition forces’ targeting of al-Houbani Hospital, which is designated – within precautionary measures – for the medical isolation of cases infected with Corona virus.
“At a time when the world is confronting the Corona pandemic with various capabilities, the coalition countries and their forces target medical centers in the province,” the office said in a statement.
According to the statement, the artillery shelling by the coalition forces resulted in severe damage to the building of the hospital, which led to its coming out of service.
The statement called on the international community and all organizations to take responsibility towards what is happening in Yemen and to call for ending the brutal aggression and lifting the blockade imposed on the people of Yemen.
