Southern leader: Conditions in Aden move towards military explosion

ADEN, March 23 (YPA) – A senior southern leader Fouad Rashid said that situation in Aden is moving towards a military explosion, referring to the latest clashes between Islah party forces and the UAE-backed militias in the southern port city of Aden

“The situation in Aden is a source of great concern, following the mutual military mobilization in Aden and Abyan, provinces” the head of the Supreme Council of the Southern Revolutionary Movement told Sputnik.

He added: the situation is moving towards slipping into a new absurd military battle that will be fueled by the young men from the South. No matter how much this or that party tries to paint religious, national or political justifications for such military actions, which he described as unacceptable.

Rashid said the deteriorating conditions in Aden have reached their peak, and the city’s citizens can no longer bear it.
