Violent clashes erupt in Abyan

ABYAN, March 22 (YPA) – Violent clashes erupted on Sunday among Islah party’s militias in Abyan province, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

The clashes erupted among southern and northern recruiters in Saqam camp in Shaqra city.

The Islah leadership directed the soldiers to confront the southern transitional militias, but these directives were rejected.

The clashes left dead and wounded.

Meanwhile, Islah party sent military reinforcements to Shaqra city in Abyan.
