SANAA, March 14 (YPA) – The Yemeni army’s air defenses on Saturday evening were able to repel a F15 warplane belonging to Saudi-led coalition in the sky of Jawf province, the army’s spokesman said.
“The Yemeni air defenses forced the coalition fighter jet to leave without carrying out its hostile tasks,” Brigadier General Yahya Sarie, spokesman of the army, said in a statement.
He revealed that the operation was carried out with the air defense system of “Fater-1”.
