Businessman assassinated in Shabwa

SHABWA, March 12 (YPA) – A businessman was found murdered inside his commercial shop in Ataq city, the capital of Shabwa province, on Wednesday evening, local sources said.

According to the sources, unknown persons killed the businessman Nasser bin Saleh Badakhen, owner of a honey shop, on Wednesday evening, without knowing the reasons for the killing.

Badakhen was stabbed several times, while the perpetrators of the crime managed to escape to an unknown destination, the sources explained.

The crimes of assassinations, arrests, and theft of citizens have increased in the city of Ataq in particular and in Shabwa province in general, as a result of the state’s absence and the control of Islah Party militia over the city.
