Ministry of Industry, YACP discuss cooperation mechanisms

SANAA, March 11 (YPA) – Minister of Industry and Trade Abdulwahab Yahya al-Durra on Wednesday chaired a meeting in Sanaa to discuss ways to activate the mechanisms of cooperation and coordination between the Ministry and the Yemeni Association for Consumer Protection (YACP).

A report submitted by Head of the YACP Fadl Moqbel Mansour on the Association’s future activities and plans in the areas of training and awareness was reviewed during the meeting.

The meeting dealt with the arrangements for holding the first conference for consumer protection, which would be organized by the Ministry in cooperation with the association, as well as the celebration of the World Consumer Rights Day on March 15.
