62 cases of coronavirus reported in the United States

SANAA, Feb. 29 (YPA) – The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) on Friday found 62 cases of coronavirus in the country, including those who have not traveled abroad.

The Center reported 34 infected cases, “11 of which were patients who had returned to the United States from abroad, and in two other cases the coronavirus was transmitted from person to person.

In addition, 21 people were received by US secretary of State: three from the Chinese city of Wuhan, the epicenter of the virus, and 18 from the Diamond Princess ship from Japan.”

According to the most recent CDC data, of the 62 patients, 12 had previously returned to the United States from overseas trips, while the number of casualties rose from one person to another to three after Santa Clara County, California, confirmed the emergence of a new case of coronavirus.

This is the third case of coronavirus confirmed in the province without travelling abroad. The infected US citizens evacuated from the Diamond Princess were 44.
