Humanitarian Affairs Council, EU’s delegation discuss cooperation

SANAA, Feb. 19 (YPA) – Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation Abdelmohsen Tawoos on Wednesday met with Deputy Head of Mission at the European Union (EU)’s Delegation to Yemen Riccardo Villa.

The meeting discussed the areas of cooperation between Yemen and the Union in the humanitarian affairs in light of what the Yemeni people suffer as a result of the aggression and the siege.

In the meeting, Tawoos stressed the need for donors to make sure that aid reach beneficiaries through monitoring and evaluating the work of organizations.

He indicated to the importance of coordination with the Supreme Council to facilitate humanitarian work and achieving its goals.
