Islah militias arrest citizens in Marib on charge of affiliation with al-Houthis
MARIB, Jan. 30 (YPA) – Islah Party’s militias launched a large-scale arrest campaign during the past two days, targeting citizens in Marib province, eastern Yemen.
Informed sources in the province confirmed the Islah militias have arrested dozens of citizens and tribesmen on charges of belonging to al-Houthis (Ansarullah Movement).
The Islah militia raided homes of citizens from al-Ashraf tribes in the city of Marib, the provincial capital, arresting hundreds of them on charges of affiliation with al-Houthis, the sources added.
