FM extends condolences to Iraqi counterpart over martyrdom of al-Muhandis

SANAA, Jan. 4 (YPA) – Foreign Minister Hisham Sharaf on Saturday sent a letter of condolence to his Iraqi counterpart Mohammed Ali al-Hakim over the martyrdom of Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis in a US treacherous airstrike in Baghdad on Friday.

The Foreign Minister affirmed the National Salvation Government’s condemnation of this American attack, which is a violation of international law and a blatant interference in the internal affairs of sovereign states, noting that this attack threatens stability in the region and the world.

In his letter, Sharaf expressed the condolences of the National Salvation Government and the Yemeni people to the Iraqi government and people and to the family of the martyr al-Muhandis.
