Islah militias arrest tribal sheikh in Shabwah

SHABWAH, Dec. 26 (YPA) – Saudi-backed Islah party’s militias arrested one of tribal sheikhs of Shabwah province, according to sources familiar with the matter.

Sheikh Mubarak bin Salem al-Qomishi was detained in al-Naqbah area for unknown reasons.

Islah militias have attempted to take over the province through carrying out a campaign of arrests against dozens of people supporting the southern transition council backed by United Arab Emirates
