ABYAN, Dec. 25 (YPA) – Southern sources on Wednesday revealed that the recent Lauder attack, which targeted a Saudi brigade with booby-trapped planes, was by the UAE, not Sanaa, as Hadi’s government media had claimed.
“The investigations confirmed that the two planes that targeted Al-Amjad camp had come from the southern areas controlled by Abu Dhabi,” said Anis Mansour, a southern journalist, quoting security sources.
He added that the UAE forces have two platforms for launching drones, one at Al-Alam camp in Shabwa province, southeast Yemen, and the other at sea.
The Al-Amajid Brigade has been established recently by Saudi orders. The brigade forces are stationed on the outskirts of the city of Laudar, in the central of the occupied Abyan province, and most of its members affiliated with Islah party (Muslim Brotherhood).
