Armed clashes cause blast in camp of Hadi’s forces in Abyan

ABYAN, Nov. 20 (YPA) – Military sources revealed that armed clashes that took place on Wednesday in one of Hadi’s forces camps in Laudar city, northeast of Abyan province, southern Yemen, causing violent explosion.

The explosion occurred in the Third Presidential Protection Brigade of Hadi’s forces in Akkad Mountain as a result of clashes between a military force coming from the coastal area of Shoqra and the brigade gunmen who refused to transfer weapons from the brigade to positions near Modiyah area and then to Shoqra, according to the sources.

The sources added that the gunmen are of Islah Party and they tried to loot the brigade’s weapons to reinforce their military positions in Modiyah and Shoqra cities.
