Hadi forces attack UAE-backed security point in Abyan

ABYAN, Nov. 19 (YPA) – Unknown gunmen believed to be affiliated with Hadi’s forces launched a violent attack on a security point belonging to the UAE-backed militias in Abyan province, local sources reported .

According to the sources, the attack targeted the security point in the village of Al-Quz, near Mudia district.

Violent clashes reportedly broken out between the two sides, after the UAE-backed forces foiled the attack, forcing Hadi’s forces into retreat.

The gunmen fled the scene without achieving their goal of controlling the point.

Chaos and insecurity in the southern provinces have been increased after the transitional forces took control of Aden and Abyan provinces.
