“Security belt” militias raise combat readiness level in Abyan

ABYAN, Nov. 17 (YPA) – The so-called security belt militias of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council in Abyan province, southern Yemen, on Sunday called on its factions to raise combat readiness level, in anticipation of confrontation with Hadi’s forces.

This comes hours after the arrival of military forces loyal to Hadi backed by Islah party militants in the port city of Shoqra in Abyan province.

The security belt militias loyal to the UAE directed all their factions to raise combat readiness at all positions and points and take the utmost caution and vigilance, in anticipation of any possible attack by Hadi’s forces.
