SANAA, Nov. 17 (YPA) – The US embassy in Beirut on Saturday said it supports protests in Lebanon for the past month, according to the AFP.
“We support the Lebanese people in their peaceful demonstrations and their expression of national unity,” the US embassy said on Twitter.
Lebanon has been witnessing popular protests since October 17, prompting Prime Minister Saad al-Hariri to resign.
On October 29, political consultations have not yet led to the formation of a new government.
