Chief of UNFPA Humanitarian Section visits Kuwait Hospital in Sanaa

SANAA, Oct. 24 (YPA) – Head of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA)’s Humanitarian Section in Geneva Shoko Arakaki on Thursday paid a visit to Kuwait Hospital in the capital Sanaa.

UNFPA’s official met with director of the hospital Dr. Amin al-Junaid, who briefed her on the medical and therapeutic services provided by the hospital, especially in the sections of obstetric emergencies, obstetrics, gynecology and neonatology.

During the visit, Arakaki praised the hospital’s medical services, confirming the Fund’s readiness to provide support for the hospital to ensure the improvement of medical services in the field of motherhood and childhood.
