ABYAN, Oct. 12 (YPA) – The district of Mudia in Abyan province, southern Yemen, has witnessed a tribal tension on Saturday following the death of  two sons of an official in Saudi-backed government in an armed ambush in the directorate.

This comes as arrangements have begun for the return of “Hadi” Interior Minister Ahmed Al-Missari, who is reportedly arriving in Ataq, the capital of Southeast Yemen’s Shabwah province.

According to the local sources,  “an unprecedented tribal alert may develop into armed confrontations in the directorate, following the death of the two sons of Hadi’s Deputy  in Abyan province, Mohammed Nasser al-Jahima, who were shot dead by gunmen in an armed ambush set up by unknown gunmen in al-Jabala area east of Mudia district.”

The killing of the two sons of al-Jahma in order to ignite fighting between the tribes of the Al-Jahma of the Fadl and Al-Anbar of the Bakazem, after violent confrontations between them during the past year, left many dead and wounded.

The elimination two sons the deputy governor of the province in Mudia district,  coincided with the start of a military deployment of Hadi’s forces in the coastal city of Shaqra, which is expected to extend to the birthplace of Al-Missay, who plans to return to Shabwah after arriving from Oman.
