Parliament resumes convening on Saturday
SANAA, Oct. 12 (YPA) – The Parliament started holding its meetings in Sanaa on Saturday under the chairmanship of the Speaker Yahya Ali al-Ra’i.
At the outset of its meeting, the Parliament reviewed its draft agenda for the current period, and approved the meeting of heads and rapporteurs of its standing committees to discuss topics and issues referred to the committees.
On another hand, the Yemeni Parliament deplored the flawed Arab silence towards the Turkish aggression on Arab lands, considering the Turkish attacks on Syrian territories as a violation of the land and sovereignty of an independent Arab state and a member of the Arab League.
In its meeting, the parliament approved to send a letter to the US Congress on the US administration’s recent decision to send US troops to Saudi Arabia, which has been waging a blatant aggression against Yemen for nearly five years.
