Ministry of Health distributes ambulances to several hospitals

SANAA, Sept. 4 (YPA) – Ministry of Public Health and Population on Wednesday distributed the first batch of ambulances to a number of hospitals in the provinces.

“This comes in the framework of the ministry’s plan and the World Health Organization (WHO) project, which include the provision of 180 ambulance cars to hospitals in a number of the provinces,” said Minister of Public Health and Population Dr. Taha al-Mutwakil.

The first batch was distributed to Nasser Hospital and Al-Thawra Hospital in Ibb province, Dhamar Public Hospital in Dhamar province, Mawiya and Makha hospitals in Taiz province and Al-Zaidiyah Hospital in Hodeidah province, the health minister explained.

He noted that there are other batches according to the plan with WHO to cover most hospitals in the country.
