BAYDA, Sept. 3 (YPA) – The Yemen army on Tuesday launched two offensives on site of mercenaries hired by Saudi-led coalition in Bayda province, central Yemen, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.
The first battle, which took place in Natie district left dozens of the mercenaries dead and wounded, the official said.
He confirmed that the army forces took control over military positions in the same district after inflicting heavy casualties on the mercenaries.
“Several Saudi-led mercenaries were also killed and wounded in the second attack, which took place in Qaniah front,” the official added.
