Yemeni forces attack Saudi military sites in Asir

ASIR, Sept. 3 (YPA) – The Yemeni army on Tuesday launched a large-scale attack on sites of the Saudi army and its mercenaries in Asir region, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

According to the official, dozens of the Saudi-hired mercenaries were killed and wounded in the attack, which took place in east Majazah district.

The official added that the army forces were able to destroy a 12.7 mm machine belonging to Saudi army in sniping attack in the same place.

On Monday, the missile force of the Yemeni army launched two “Zilzal-1” missiles at gatherings of the mercenaries off Alb crossing and Rabuaah area.

The missile strikes left heavy casualties on the Saudi troops and mercenaries in addition to destruction of military equipment.
