JIZAN, Aug. 31 (YPA) – The Yemeni army backed by popular committees on Saturday were able to liberate a number of positions where taken controlled by Saudi-led mercenaries off Jizan province, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.
According to the official, units of the army forces carried out an offensive operation on the positions of the Saudi-hired mercenaries north of al-Nar Mountain, leaving several mercenaries dead and wounded.
Th enemy suffered loss of live and equipment, the official added.
The official confirmed the continuation of military operations in various provinces of the Republic until they are cleared from the US-backed Saudi-led invasion forces and mercenaries.
