Implementation of political leadership’s orders in field of electricity discussed

 SANAA, April.15 (YPA) – A meeting was hold on Saturday in Sanaa chaired by  the Minister of Electricity and Energy, eng. Latf  al-Jarmozi, to discuss the ministry’s plans and activities for the  current year’s , including the second quarter plan.

In the meeting, the minister reviewed the level of implementation of the political leadership’ orders on the electricity sector, especially the project launched by the President of the Supreme Political Council “hand to build and hand to protect”, and to enhance the level of performance in this vital sector through developing its visions and alternatives to overcome the difficulties in this aspect.

Eng. Latf al-Jarmozi stressed the importance of concerted efforts and making treatments for the difficulties face the development of the electricity sector, most notably the continuing Saudi-led aggression, blockade and the lack of funding.

He also emphasized on the importance of studying distressed electricity projects and developing visions and perceptions to address these problems and difficulties.
