SAADA, July 29 (YPA) – At least 13 civilians were killed and 23 others injured, including children, on Monday in a preliminary toll of Saudi-led coalition airstrikes on a popular market in Saada province, according to the Health Ministry.
“The victims toll is not final and can increase, since the bombing targeted the sellers and citizens directly in the market,” Spokesman of the Ministry of Health Dr. Yousef al-Hadhri said in a statement, adding that the wounds of many of victims are serious.
Among the dead and wounded are a number of children and elderly people whose parts have been mingled with remains of the remaining victims, the spokesman explained, noting that the ambulance teams are still evacuating the wounded and collecting remains of the dead.
