US decides to send 1,000 more troops to Poland
SANAA, June 12 (YPA) – The US authorities decided to send 1,000 troops to Poland plus 4,000 US troops there, Sputnik agency quoted Defense One site.
According to the website, the extra forces will deal with material and technical issues, and will not include duties on the duties of combat.
The relevant agreements will be announced on Wednesday during a meeting between US President Donald Trump and Polish President Andrze Doda at the White House, said the website.
On Tuesday, it was reported that Washington was preparing a proposal for Warsaw at the price and terms of potential sale of F-35 F-35 fighter jets.
At the end of May, Polish Defense Minister Marius Blachzack said Warsaw and Washington had agreed to expand the US military presence in the republic.
