SANAA, Yemen’s Armed Forces spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Sare’e revealed details of the missile attack that targeted Saudi Abha international Airport in Asir region, southwestern Saudi Arabia in the early hours of Wednesday.
The missile force fired a wing cruise missile targeting Abha Airport and has hit its target with high accuracy, Brigadier Sare’e said in a press statement.
He further confirmed that the missile could not be discovered by the US radar systems.
“The winged rocket hit the control tower of the airport directly, causing its destruction and succeeded in making it out of service” Brigadier Sare’e added.
This strike has caused a state of fear and panic among the enemy, as well as causing a great confusion in their ranks, Yemen’s Armed Forces spokesman said.
This attack comes in retaliation for crimes and unjust blockade imposed by the Saudi-led coalition against the Yemeni people.
