Earthquake measuring between 7.5, 8 degrees hits 4 Latin countries
SANAA, May 26 (YPA) – A Powerful earthquake measuring between 7.5 and 8 degrees in the Richter scale hit four Latin countries: Ecuador, Peru, Colombia and Brazil.
According to Reuters agency, the US Geological Survey said a strong earthquake may reach a magnitude of 7.5 degrees shook northern Peru.
The epicenter of the earthquake is about 180 km east of the city of Moyobamba in Peru and at a depth of about 105 km.
The quake hit the four countries with a magnitude of 8 and its epicenter was 83 km south of the northern Peruvian town of Lagunas, the Colombian survey said.
There were no reports of casualties.
