Al-Mortada: We launched initiative before Ramadan to exchange 1,000 prisonersو not receive any response

SANAA, May 23 (YPA) – The head of the National Committee for Prisoners’ Affairs Abdul Qader al-Mortada said that before the holy month of Ramadan an initiative was launched to conduct an exchange with the coalition’s mercenaries, including (1000) prisoners from both sides.

“We are over half of this holy month and we have not received any positive response so far,” Al-Murtada said on his Facebook page.

He expressed his deep regret that “the forces of aggression and their mercenaries are not interested in their prisoners.”

He also expressed the hope that “the conscience of these parties will move toward their prisoners even once during the remainder of the holy month of Ramadan.”
