FM discusses with DRC’s Regional Director joint cooperation

SANAA, May 7 (YPA) – Foreign Minister Hisham Sharaf on Tuesday discussed with Regional Director of Danish Refugee Council (DRC) Gerry Garvey  aspects of joint cooperation between Yemen and the Council.

In the meeting, Sharaf stressed the importance of expanding the Council’s activities and tasks to enhance the cooperation based on the coordination, transparency and periodical evaluation of the performance level to achieve the desired goals of its work in Yemen.

The minister confirmed that the national authorities are keen to provide all facilitates for the humanitarian programs and organizations working in Yemen to ensure providing their services to citizens and ease the burdens left by the aggression on Yemen.

For his part, Garvey confirmed the Danish Council’s keenness to exert efforts to provide the possible services to Yemenis, appreciating the cooperation of Yemeni authorities.
