Israeli forces arrest 2 fishermen, wounded another in Gaza
SANAA, May 1 (YPA) – Israeli naval forces arrested two fishermen and wounded a third in the Gaza sea.
According to Palestine Today agency, local sources said, the enemy boats fired at fishermen’s boats in the area of the oasis of the northern Gaza Strip, causing the injury of one of the fishermen, and did not know his health.
They also arrested two fishermen and seized their boat and took them to an unknown destination.
It is noteworthy that the Zionist enemy announced the reduction of fishing area in the Gaza Strip, under the pretext of firing a missile.
“The Israeli occupation authorities have decided to prevent fishing in the Gaza Sea for more than six miles,” said Zakaria Baker, coordinator of the Union of Fishermen’s Committees in Gaza.
The decision was implemented by dumping the fishermen’s nets at distances of more than six miles.
