Fire broke out near settlement in Gaza

SANAA, May 1 (YPA) – A fire broke out near a settlement in the Gaza Strip on Tuesday evening, caused by a burning balloon fired from Gaza.

The Hebrew seventh channel said that the fire occurred near the fields of settlement “Nahal Oz” east of Gaza and that the fire was controlled.

The settlers fear the return of the phenomenon of burning balloons, with the start of drought fields and the end of the winter.

Over the past few months, Palestinian youths have managed to burn tens of thousands of dunums of wheat planted in Gaza Strip settlements by planes and balloons in response to the massacres of the Zionist enemy forces against peaceful return demonstrators.
