Prominent figures behind the cessation of UNICEF support to education curriculum

SANAA, April .4 (YPA) – Dr. Hamdan Al-Shami, Executive Director of School textbooks printing authority confirmed that the school book printing process has shrunken to 5% in the current school year.

In a statement to Yemen Press Agency, Dr. Al-Shami said that the last transfer of educational curricula to areas under the control of forces and groups loyal to Saudi-led coalition was in the academic year 2016-0201.
Al-Shami revealed the cessation of government funding for the school books press institution because of the financial circumstances imposed by Saudi-led coalitions
He added not only that but also the cessation of support provided by UNICEF because of the involvement of some parties loyal to what so-called “legitimacy” and some figures belonging to the General People’s Congress.
