President al-Mashat telephones Defense Minister

SANAA, April 25 (YPA) – President of the Supreme Political Council – Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces – Field Marshal Mahdi al-Mashat on Thursday made a telephone call with Minister of Defense Major General Mohammed Nasser al-Atefi.

During the call, the President congratulated the armed forces heroes on the victories they had achieved on several fronts in cooperation with honorable tribesmen.

The Defense Minister briefed the president on the conduct of military operations carried out by the army forces on the different fronts. He confirmed the readiness of the army and the popular committees to confront the invaders and mercenaries and protect the sovereignty and independence of the homeland.
