Head of General People’s Congress Party branch arrested in Marib

MARIB, April 23 (YPA) – Head of General People’s Congress Party branch of Marib Mansour Saleh Al-Sayadi on Tuesday was arrested by militias affiliated to Islah Muslim Brotherhood party in the province, official source said.

The move came by director of security of the province Abdulmalik Al-Madani  Madani in response to the arrest operation against members of the Muslim Brotherhood in Dhalea province.

Political observers described the campaign as a revenge campaign between members of the Congress party and Islah, which have witnessed political and military hostility for years.
