SANAA, April 23 (YPA) – President of the Supreme Political Council Mahdi al-Mashat on Tuesday announced in the capital Sanaa the start of work according to the national vision for building the modern Yemeni state and its executive mechanism.
During the inauguration event attended by members of the Council, Prime Minister and a number of ministers and leaders of political parties and women, President al-Mashat said that the declaration of work under the national vision came as an extension of the steps started by the martyr President Saleh al-Samad.
Al-Mashat considered the commitment to the vision and its implementation in a correct and accurate manner is the standard through which the performance of all the State organs and institutions would be evaluated.
The President indicated that the stage that Yemen is going through calls for everyone to sharpen their resolve and move towards protecting and building the country.
“While we are confronting the aggression, we are at the same time facing the challenge of the state-building,” said the President.
He urged all the state officials to take responsibility in facing this challenge and to proceed with building the state through the national vision.
President al Mashat also stressed that the past stereotype in the state institutions, which led to sag and failure in some facilities, should not continue.
He emphasized the need to provide all possible means to implement of the vision with a focus on the development of legislations and administrative procedures through the governance rules and transparency, noting that there would be periodic evaluation accordingly.
