SANAA, April 3 (YPA) – Yemen’s Health Minister Taha al-Mutawakil on Wednesday called on the World health organizations to an urgent intervention to combat and reduce spread of the cholera epidemic.
At his meeting with representatives of international and local health organizations working in Yemen, al-Mutawakil stressed that Yemen is facing the most dangerous diseases of cholera, diphtheria and measles in light of the catastrophic situation caused by the Saudi-led coalition.
The meeting stressed on the importance of develop the health sector and provide medical supplies to combat the epidemics.
