TAIZ, Feb. 28 (YPA) – The Association of Victims of Residential Complexes in the coastal city of Mocha in Taiz province has vowed to sue Saudi-led coalition locally and internationally.
The Association on Thursday issued a strongly-worded statement against the coalition because of its procrastination in providing appropriate compensation to the victims of the housing complexes destroyed by the war.
The statement confirmed that the Association would work on preparing an integrated file on the incident and pleading before the local and international parties and bodies.
“The coalition, despite acknowledging its responsibility for targeting the residential compound and its commitment to provide adequate compensation to the victims’ families, did not provide any compensation even after the occupation of the city,” the statement said.
