SANAA, Feb. 26 (YPA) – Pakistan on Tuesday announced that Indian warplanes have violated its airspace over the “line of control” in Kashmir, asserting that its fighters had intercepted Indian planes and forced them to return.
According to Agence France-Presse (AFP), Pakistani Army spokesman Major General Asif Ghafoor wrote on his Twitter Account that “the Indian Air Force violated Line of Control separating the two parts of the disputed Kashmir region.
“The Pakistani air Force is immediately moved, and the Indian planes gone back,” he said.

The military development comes at a time when relations between the two neighboring nuclear powers have been strained since Feb. 14 when 41 Indian soldiers were killed in Kashmir in a suicide bombing in which New Delhi accused Islamabad of involvement, an accusation the Pakistani government quickly denied.
