Iranian foreign minister resigns  

SANAA, Feb. 26 (YPA) – Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif on Monday evening resigned from his post on his Instagram page.

“I apologize to you for all the shortcomings of the past years during my time as foreign minister, I thank the Iranian nation and the officials,” Zarif added.
An informed source in the Iranian Foreign Ministry told Iranian news agency Fars news of the resignation of Foreign Minister Mohammad Jawad Zarif.

It is noteworthy that no official sources announced the acceptance of the resignation of Foreign Minister Mohammad Jawad Zarif by Iranian President Hassan Rowhani until this moment.
