ADEN, Feb. 18 (YPA) – Dozens of families staged a protest rally on Monday to demand releasing their sons detained in secret prisons run by United Arab Emirates (UAE) occupation-backed militias in Yemen’s southern city of Aden.
At the rally, the families raised banner, slogans and pictures condemning torture dozens of citizens from the southern provinces.
The participants held the UAE’s militia and the Saudi-backed exiled Hadi government the full responsibility for continuing arbitrary detention and forced disappearance in the jails.
The protesters called on the United Nations and international human rights organizations to pay more attention to reveal the crimes against the detainees.
