Army foils coalition militias’ infiltration attempt in Dhale

DHALE, Feb. 9 (YPA) – The Yemeni army units on Saturday foiled an infiltration attempt by militias loyal to Saudi-led coalition in Dhale province, southern Yemen, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

The official made it clear that gatherings of the militias tried to carry out an offensive on sites of the army in the outskirts of Damt district, but the army artillery targeted them with several shells, killing and wounding several of them.

Earlier, the army forces targeted a tank carrying recruits loyal to the coalition with a guided rocket in the same district.
