President meets head of Supreme Judicial Council

SANAA, Feb. 6 (YPA) – President of the Supreme Political Council Mahdi al-Mashat,  met with on Wednesday the head of the Higher Judicial Council Judge Ahmad Yahya al-Mutawakil.

During the meeting, the officials discussed the progress of the judiciary and the needs of courts and prosecutors to overcome the difficulties it face in achieving justice and fairness.

The meeting touched on the achievements made during the past year and the plans of the current year and the aspects of coordination between the judiciary and the Public Prosecution to expedite the decision on citizens’ cases.
