IOF launches campaign of arrests and raids in West Bank

SANAA, Feb. 2 (YPA) – Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Saturday launched a campaign of arrests and raids in various areas of the occupied West Bank.

According to Palestinian sources, the Israeli occupation forces arrested the young man Munther Abu Jeldah from the Za’tara checkpoint south of Nablus.

The sources indicated that he was a resident of Qalandia refugee camp, north of Jerusalem.

The sources said the Israeli occupation forces had counted the numbers and whereabouts of the surveillance cameras in the neighborhoods of Beit Fajar, Bethlehem District.

They raided the Haifa Street west of Jenin in the occupied West Bank, while the village of Azmut was raided east of Nablus.

The Israeli occupation forces tightened their military actions at the Zaatara checkpoint south of the occupied West Bank city of Nablus.

Local sources said that Israeli soldiers were checking the identities of citizens outside of Nablus and searching their vehicles, causing a severe traffic jam in the area.
