Saudi writer calls for normalization with Israel

SANAA , Jan. 27 (YPA) – A Saudi writer called for normalization with the Israeli enemy.

Siham Al-Qahtani, the writer in al-Jazeera Saudi newspaper, said the existence of Israel has become a reality and the rejection of normalization with it is nothing but” emotional slogans. ”

Qahtani added, “Israel is a reality, and our non-recognition of this reality and seriousness and its impact on us will not change, there are always new beginnings of history.”

Siham al-Qahtani had published a book entitled “The Arabs and Israel: a peace deal” in 2018, which raised the call for normalization with Israel.

Earlier, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had called for an international alliance in the Middle East against Iran that included “moderate countries” in the region, referring to Saudi Arabia.

The Saudi crown prince, Prince Mohammed bin Salman, stressed that his country and Israel are facing a common enemy, Iran.
